SLASH! one-shot | Aruelion

It’s Gay Christmas aka Halloween! Join the Roll for Focus team as they play the classic horror movie-themed system Slash! by Samuel Clark.

Released October 2024

Aruelion: Act One

Recording | Transcript | Character Sheets

Length: 2 hrs.

A group of friends on break from college head to the Bahamas for two weeks of fun and adventure. It’s the perfect way to unwind and reconnect and the perfect setting for a very important question. But, as any horror buff knows, a bunch of young adults enjoying themselves in a beautiful, but isolated, location? That’s just begging for things to go terribly wrong. As the “movie” gears up for the horrors ahead, someone – or something – is ready to play its part.

Warnings: explicit language, sexual innuendo, sexual situations, references to sex and sexual situations, hypothetical zoophilia mention, weed use

Aruelion: Act Two Part One

Recording | Transcript | Character Sheets

Length: 2 hrs. 12 min.

The music has shifted and the friends have realized they are not in a  fun summer comedy anymore. Stalked by a mysterious entity, they scramble  to stay alive while being plagued with mind-warping, terrifying  hallucinations. But someone always has to be the first to die in any  horror movie. Even worse, they begin to uncover connections between the  entity and their long-lost, dead friend. Just what exactly happened to  Teddy all those years ago and what does that mean for their survival  now…?

Warnings: explicit language, references to sexual  relationships/situations, descriptions of gore and violence, character  death, mental manipulation

Aruelion: Act Two Part Two

Recording | Transcript | Character Sheets

Length: 1 hr. 57 min.

Aruelion: Act Three Part One

Recording | Transcript | Character Sheets

Length: 1 hr. 4 min.

Pushed to their limit, the remaining friends are ready to fight  back in any way they can. Unfortunately for them, the demon isn’t  concerned about windchime weapons and salt-filled pomade. In fact, he’s  confident enough to even offer a tempting deal. What he doesn’t know is  an old enemy has been lying in wait for the perfect opportunity from  beyond the grave. A miraculous return might just be the key to the  friends’ success and Aruelion’s downfall if they can hang on long enough to defy horror movie expectations.

Warnings:  explicit language, references to sexual relationships/situations,  descriptions of gore and violence, mental manipulation, death, demonic  possession, hallucinations
